Synthetic is an LLM inference gateway that provides access to models from multiple providers through a single API. It supports a wide range of open-source and commercial models with per-token pricing.

Using Synthetic with TextClaw

To use Synthetic models, bring your own API key and select Synthetic as your provider in the model settings. TextClaw will fetch the models available on your account so you can pick the one you want. Requires a Pro or Max plan.

Getting a Synthetic API key

  1. Go to synthetic.new and create an account.
  2. Generate an API key from your dashboard.
  3. In your TextClaw dashboard, go to Settings, switch to Bring Your Own Key, select Synthetic, and enter your key.
  4. Click Load Models, select a model, and save.
