How it works

When you create an agent on TextClaw, we automatically provision a dedicated phone number through Twilio. There's nothing extra to set up — your agent is ready to receive texts as soon as it's created.

Direct messages

Text your agent's number and it will respond just like messaging a friend. Every conversation is stored so your agent remembers context from earlier in the thread.

  1. Find your agent's phone number on the dashboard.
  2. Save it as a contact on your phone (or just text the number directly).
  3. Send a message and your agent will reply within seconds.

Tips

  • Your agent's number works with standard SMS — no special app needed.
  • Messages are rate-limited to prevent abuse. If you hit limits, wait a moment and try again.
